NORFOLK - Friday's 50-48 win over Norfolk marked the first time in at least 15 years that Kearney has beaten Norfolk on two separate occasions. They beat Norfolk in their previous match-up last winter in the semi-finals of the GNAC Conference tournament.
NORFOLK - Kearney coach Jason Boyd eclipsed another milestone in his coaching career. Kearney's 48-36 win over Norfolk was Boyd's 300th. 184 of those wins have come at Kearney - Boyd's alma mater. The rest were racked up in seven years as a coach in Las Vegas.
