GICC Coach Sharon Zavala: “We Kind Of Go As Megan Goes”

COLUMBUS – GICC head coach Sharon Zavala added yet another victory to her storied coaching career with a 3-0 win over Scotus on Thursday night.

Zavala thought that the Crusaders had a very strong showing, and said that GICC may have had their best defensive effort this year. Zavala also gave credit to senior Megan Woods, who recorded 24 kills on the night, saying Megan’s dominant performance really helped out the rest of the team.

Zavala also said that having a week between matches actually helped the Crusaders, as it gave them time to sit back and have a few days to work on some key areas.

The Crusaders will next compete this weekend in a four-team tournament in Ord.
