Koerting Wins Coaching Debut As Lexington Defeats Gothenburg

LEXINGTON – Lexington head coach Robb Koerting said that any win in Class B is a great win, but he was very happy to earn a victory in his head coaching debut.

Koerting said that he has all the confidence in the world in his team, saying he is very excited and blessed to be able to serve as their head coach this season.

Koerting also said that he challenged his team to come out and win the third quarter after heading into halftime down 17-16. Koerting praised the third quarter performance of freshman Sarah Treffer, saying she played well above her years and showed that she is going to be a leader this season.
