Cinderella Story Continues for the Tristate Revolution Wolves

SOUTH SIOUX CITY- It has been a Cinderella Story season for the Iowa state cup winners as this Nebraska based team takes Iowa by storm. The Tristate Revolution Wolves form South Sioux City continue their reign as they head to the regional tournament in Indiana.

This 13 and under aged boys soccer team held their opponents to only two goals competing in this competition, while they went on to win the finals four to zero against the West Des Moines soccer club Royals. Assistant coach and manager Sandra Gutierrez is thrilled seeing her team competing at the level they have been.

“When we arrived in Des Moines, no one knew these boys, no one knew this team, we did not know any coaches, we did not know any clubs, we basically just went to play. It was just really nice that the kids did very well and that they were able to win all the games.”

Sandra has a fundraiser going on to help get them to the regional tournament beginning on June 22 where the Wolves will play the wild card team in the first game.

“If there is anyone that would like to donate to this team to make this dream come true, please call me at (712) 389-2970”

The wild card opponent is still unknown at this time.
