COLUMBUS – The Columbus High boys golf team took 10th of 16 at the Kearney Invitational on Thursday.
The team finished with a total of 381, led by Shane Hess, who shot a team low of 90 to take 39th individually. Zach Paden came in close behind Hess with a 93, with Mitchell Goc carding a 96.
Rounding out the scores for the Discoverers were Joe Massman who shot a 102, and caleb Hoadley who finished with a 120.
Norfolk won the overall team division with a 304, with Luke Kluver finishing 1st after carding a 71, and Jake Kluver taking 3rd with a 74.
The boys are next scheduled to play at Norfolk in a team dual on April 9th.
