Garrett Moves to 5th on All-Time Nebraska List

FREMONT – Jaidyn Garrett is now 5th on the All-Time Nebraska pole vaulters list, while several Discoverers notched personal bests in Fremont.

Columbus High School Head Girls Track Coach Julie Kreikemeier says  Jaidyn Garrett vaulted 12’4″ on Friday, breaking the Pat Murphy Invite record, CHS school record, and moving up to 5th on the Nebraska All-Time list.

Kereikemeier says Catherine Veseth and Abigail Gerber both put on top performances in the shot put, with Veseth taking 2nd on a throw of 39’3.5″ and Gerber taking 4th on a throw of 37′. Both were personal bests says Kreikemeier.

Jada Lloyd also snagged some team points placing 6th in the 100 meter hurdles, running them in 17.51.

“We had several personal best and keep improving, with more girls placing each week to help the team score.  I’m looking forward to the improvements to see where the girls end up by the end of the season,” says Kreikemeier.
