Johnson-Brock Three-Peats as State Champions Beating Meridian in 4

LINCOLN, Neb. – Johnson-Brock has won the state title for third straight year.

The Eagles defeated Meridian 25-22, 25-17, 22-25, 25-23 in the Class D1 state title game at Bob Devaney Sports Center on Saturday.

Fallon Stutheit recorded 19 kills in the match for Johnson-Brock. Her teammate Kaitlynn Simon was right behind her with 18.

Halle Pribyl led the way for Meridian with 21 kills.

Johnson-Brock has now won the state title the last three seasons. They had not won a state volleyball championship since 1993 before 2015.
