Roncalli Catholic Wins Spectacular Double Overtime Game Over Aurora

LINCOLN – Another Class B Semifinal, another spectacular overtime contest.

The Omaha Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride held on for an incredible 75-66 double overtime victory over the Aurora Huskies to advance to the Class B State Championship. Despite being down 22-16 after the first quarter, Roncalli battled back to tie things up 31-31 at the half, and stayed with the Huskies every step of the way. Both teams made big play after big play, but it was the Crimson Pride who finally pulled away in the second overtime period to advance to the State Championship game for the first time since 1996.
