Johnson County Central wins fourth consecutive HTRS Invite

HUMBOLDT – Eli Waring shot an 80, Taylor Bartels added an 82, and the Johnson County Central golf team won the team championship at the HTRS Invitational on Tuesday at Kirkman’s Lakeview Golf Course.

The Thunderbirds, with a team score of 340, placed three golfers in the top ten. This was their fourth-straight season winning the HTRS Invite and their fifth in six years.

Falls City’s Braden Oliver and Lucas Aldana finished second and third with a score of 81. The Tigers finished behind runner-up Southern.

Auburn finished fourth. Cam Binder was the lone Bulldog in the top-ten with a sixth place medal. He shot an 84.
