DAVID CITY – It’s been a rough year for the Aquinas Catholic backfield.
They lost starting fullback Travis Roh to a bulging disc in the offseason. Then, starting tailback Miles Eggleston was lost with a broken foot in week two.
It’s a good thing, then, that the Monarchs have options.
The next man up? Sophomore Kyle Napier, who had 135 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns in Aquinas’ 28-14 win over Ponca on Friday.
Napier also recovered a fumble on defense.
