Ramirez’s INT a Key Swing Play for Wyoming in Shootout Win

ALBION – He’s known for for his offensive acumen, but Kaycee’s Danny Ramirez made a huge play on defense to help Wyoming beat Nebraska in the 2018 Nebraska-Wyoming Six-Man Shootout.

Ramirez broke a 6-6 stalemate in the third quarter with a pick six that game Wyoming a lead they would never relinquish.

Ramirez was an all-state running back for the state-champion Kaycee Buckaroos, rushing for 1974 rushing yards and 36 touchdowns.

But those that follow Buckaroo football no doubt weren’t surprised to see him make such a big defensive play. He also had 34 tackles, three sacks and six interceptions in the regular season.
