Scorekeepers kept busy in high-scoring affair between Yutan and Conestoga

MURRAY – McKinley Josoff homered, Yutan finished with 12 total hits and the Yutan softball team defeated Conestoga Monday evening in Murray, 10-7.

Paige Timperley helped Yutan fire up the offense in the first inning when she hit an RBI single. She also was the winning pitcher, going five innings, allowing four runs on 12 hits and striking out six.

Molly Davis, Rylie Jones and Emily Hebenstreit each had multiple hits for Yutan. Davis finished 3-5.

Conestoga, who falls to 4-8 this season, collected 14 hits. They’ll host Auburn Tuesday.
