Scotus & Lakeview Players Named To All-District Team

COLUMBUS – The Class C1 District 4 All-District team was announced this week, and it contained multiple standouts from both Scotus and Lakeview.

Scotus RBs Eric Mustard and Evan Sliva were named to the 1st team offense, as well as TE Grant Shanle. Two Lakeview players were named to the 1st team offense, as WR/RB Lucas Thatcher and TE Brook Behlen earned the honor for the Vikings.

On the defensive side, Lakeview DL Cody Thompson and LB Jacob Frenzen were selected to the 1st team defense, and Scotus DB Tyler Palmer was also named to the squad.

Honorable mentions for Lakeview included DB Brock Foltz, LB Zeth Gerkensmeyer, QB Cadge Janssen, QB Jaden Johnson, LB Thunder Pilakowski, and LB Evan Tessendof. Four Scotus players were also selected as honorable mentions, including WR/DB Dalton Borchers, RB/LB Braden Labenz, QB/DB Caden Pelan, and OL/DL Abe Perault.

The Shamrocks finished the season at 4-5 overall, finishing tied for second in the District standings with Lakeview and Bishop Neumann at 2-2. The Vikings finished up with a 6-3 overall record.
