Peru State softball announces changes to this week’s schedule

PERU – Mother Nature continues to cause challenges for all spring sports in the Midwest.

Peru State softball coach JL Thomason has announced the following changes for the week of March 11.

The Bobcats were to have traveled to Baldwin City, Kan., on Tuesday, March 12, to face the Baker Wildcats in a Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) double header. Due to the field conditions and anticipated rain for tomorrow, the games will hopefully be played either Saturday or Sunday.

The ‘Cats were originally scheduled to Hastings here on Sunday, March 17, but due to the condition of the Centennial Complex Field, that double header has been cancelled. It will not be rescheduled.
