Peru State’s Hasch Makes Heart All-Tournament Team

OZARK, Mo. – Peru State junior second baseman Darren Hasch (Destin, Fla.) was named to the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) All-Tournament team.

The selections were announced following the conclusion of the Heart Championship held at the US Baseball Park in Ozark, Mo.

Hasch played in four contests in the Heart tournament and had two multi-hit games.

Against Grand View (Iowa) in the first game, Hasch went three for four while nearly hitting for the cycle as had a double, triple, and home run while driving in three. His slugging percentage for the game was 2250%.

In the win over Benedictine (Kan.), Hasch went one for four and had a double and an RBI.

Then, in the win over Evangel (Mo.), he went two for four which included a double and triple while driving in one.

In Peru State’s final game of the season in their loss to Grand View, Hasch was one for three.

For the tournament, Hasch was seven of 15 for a .466 hitting percentage.

Peru State finished the season with a 30-20 record.
