Crusaders’ Woods Records 24 Kills; Named Player Of The Game

COLUMBUS – Megan Woods terrorized the Scotus Shamrocks all match long, and recorded 24 kills in the GICC Crusaders 3-0 victory on Thursday night.

The senior Woods said that it was a good win for the Crusaders following last season’s 3-2 loss to the Shamrocks, and that everyone on the team stepped up their game with revenge in mind.

After the Crusaders were the runner-up in last year’s C1 State Championship match, Woods says that this season is championship-or-bust, as the Crusaders return all of their players from last year’s playoff team.

GICC improved to 7-2 with the victory, while Scotus fell to 9-4 in defeat.
