Bellevue West Holds Off Kearney in 1st Round of State
Bellevue West defaced Kearney 59-51 in the first round of state on Thursday.

LINCOLN – Kearney’s season came to an end Thursday evening.

Despite outscoring Bellevue West 24-18 in the fourth quarter, the Bearcats fell to the Thunderbird 59-51 in the state quarterfinals at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Bellevue West will face Millard South in the quarterfinals on Friday with tipoff set for 7 PM.
