Late Winner Pushes Kearney Past Lincoln Southwest
Kearney defeated Lincoln Southwest 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.

LINCOLN – The Kearney boys are still undefeated after a dramatic victory on Saturday.

Tied 2-2 at halftime, Carson Schwarz headed in the game-winner in the 74th minute off of a set piece sent into the box by Royce Austen.

With the victory top-ranked Kearney claimed the first ever I-80 Challenge Cup, the inaugural competition between the two programs allows the winner to keep the trophy each season.
